It looks good for what it is. However, I had to tailor the outfit to fit my demensions... Which I encourage everyone to do. Buy a size larger and adjust it down. The cape and pleather band that wraps around you (the band that goes under the armpits)... Its a weird design and had to find another review on here to figure it out.How to wear the cape with the pleather band:Velcro the pleather band to itslef into a loop. Attach your cape. The pleather loop sits between the cape and the hood. The top (velcro portion of loop and cape) sits behind your neck. Attempt to wear the cape/loop thing like a backpack as in the pleather loop goes around the front of your shoulders (deltoids) and goes underneath your armpits. It continues to wrap behind your lats (ribcage) to your back.I added a drawing so that maybe it helps someone out.Great product, fits great and is good qualityWarning: Take an honest inventory of yourself before attempting to pull off this look. It looks best if you're in decent physical shape. I define "decent physical shape" as someone having some bicep/tricep definition, firm pecks, tight somewhat defined thighs, a trim waist, and a hint of some abdominal muscle outlines. This is a jaw-dropping costume! You don't have to be a bodybuilding gym rat, but it would help. There's a reason it's advertised with a bodybuilding model. I workout 5 days a week, and I'm in reasonably decent shape. I was worried after I ordered it, because I was skeptical and had second thoughts thinking that since I don't have the physique of the model that this costume would end up in the back of my closet. There's not that much to it, and it could be very unforgiving if you have some spillage over your waist or stomach. When I got it and put it on, I was very pleased at how it looked and fit. I received many unexpected compliments at the masquerade party I attended. It's definitely an incentive for me to continue my workouts.Hands down the best 300 Sparta costume you can by for the money. For more serious costume, you may want to look to buying in pieces from Etsy, eBay or places like that.It did run a little big, I’m 6’1 195, (45 chest & 28 waist) I purchased a large and the Velcro straps were way off position.First let’s just say that you may want to buy it one size bigger. It still fits but I am afraid the bottom will give out.Second, many people mentioned that the cape was a pain to deal with and you had to pin it. I experienced the same thing until my wife looked as me and said “you know, how you keep putting it on is not the right way...”. And then she figured that the strap came between the cape and the hood on the back end to hold it in place. Now the costume fits perfect. I mean it looks awesome and the cape is secured in place and I didn’t have to use any pins or anything else. Only thing I wish is that it was wider. Otherwise the outfit was totally worth the money.I'm 6'0" and 190 pounds, in good shape, and this fits me well. I got the large size and the shorts are actually a great fit, even though my butt and thighs are slightly larger than most men my height. The chest strap is a little long and the velcro fastener it comes with seems to be on the wrong side to hold it closed, so I improvised with a medium binder clip and it holds great. I'll probably wrap the clip with something soft so it doesn't scrape my back at all. It will take a little creative safety-pinning to get the cape to hang well on my chest and shoulders, but that's the case with most costumes so no biggie. I didn't try the leg guards because I have some sandals I'll be wearing but the arm guards fit well and were comfortable. The materials are all decent, too. Overall I think this is a good costume. The straps that go across your chest and around your neck to attach to the cape doesn't match up. There were no instructions! I believe another vecro stap should've ben on the strap. The cape drapes. I had to use some piecs of velcro on the backside to make the cape work like it should. The bottom piece runs a tad bit small. Ensure you know your waist size and chest! It will do the trick for the night. Overall quality is medium high. For the price and if you don't mind making the adjustments or know how, then it's worth the purchase.I really like this costume. I was trying to do a 300 character. The cape is a little bright and the gold plastic shoulder piece tends to flop and come undone. The back/shoulder strap just velcroes in the back. It's a tad akward but no big deal. I used some safety pins of my own to secure the cape to the strap. I'm 5 foot 7 and 165 pounds and a medium was perfect. The cape is a little bit narrow for my liking. The cape is long and drags but that's the idea, however not ideal for parties. You could always hymn it up if you don't care for the length. Sandals and helmet were separate.Queda super bien y se ve genial! Sólo eso sí, la tira que se supone amarra con la capa no trae velcro para sostenerla, la capa sí. De eso en más, genialIt does not comes with shoes, helm and weaponI ordered my normal size, the shorts were too big, and the loin cloth skirt was way too small. I had to buy extra Velcro to adjust it.
